David's Saturday Night Sit Back (DSNSB)
When I started this show, I had no clear direction — no perfect plan, no “ideal guest.”
So, I committed to recording 21 episodes and figured if something clicked, I’d keep going. Around episode 12, a guest flipped the script and started asking me the hard questions. I was terrified to publish it — but I’d be a hypocrite to ask for people’s truth if I wasn’t willing to give mine.
Then a 17-year-old approached me at the gym after hearing my story. He told me that at 16, he tried to take his own life. And somehow, hearing that episode gave him the hope to keep going.
This podcast is now a mission: to tell personal stories with an aim light the internal fire in young men and women across the globe who are walking through the dark night of their journey.
David's Saturday Night Sit Back (DSNSB)
A U.S. Marine turned comic talks ghosts, trauma, and semen retention - Isac Kane Brown.
What do you get when a U.S. Marine turned stand-up comedian joins me on the mic for over 3 hours? Absolute chaos, some laughs, and a few moments of unexpected wisdom.
This week, I’m joined by Isac Kane Brown — stand-up comic, podcaster, and my first-ever four-time guest. Isac’s one of the few people I can sit with and just talk with no filter, no plan, and no pressure. This episode is everything from hilarious to heartfelt, and if you're new to DSNSB, this is a perfect place to start.
We talk about his time in the Marines, ghost stories, family dynamics, dating, religion, and even semen retention. Yeah... we went there.
If you’re looking for an episode that feels more like hanging with old friends than listening to a podcast — this one’s for you.
New episodes every Saturday. Subscribe, rate, and leave us a review.
